African Institute of Corporate Citizenship is a non-governmental organization whose main mandate is to promote the role of business in development. It was established in 2001 in South Africa and the Malawi office was opened in 2005. AICC has since operated on a partnership model and has been involved in projects with partner organizations in a number of countries in Africa. These include South Africa, Malawi, Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The organization is committed to being the centre of excellence in corporate citizenship in Africa and it focuses on the role of business in building sustainable communities. AICC’s approach to corporate citizenship focuses on the extent of governments, private sector and civil society acting collectively, exercise their collective and shared responsibility to drive and hold the forces of economic power accountable to mankind by ensuring that business enterprises create and produce wealth responsibly. One of AICC’s broad objectives it to achieve responsible growth and competitiveness throughout Africa by ensuring that enterprises, as good citizens, change the way they do business in a way which benefits people, the economy and the environment.

Professor Roger Tsafack Nanfosso

holds a PhD in Business Economics, Doctorate of State (“Advanced PhD”) in Economic Sciences and was ranked first at the Aggregation Contest in Economics in 2001. Knight of the French Academic Palms, Officer of Cameroon National Value Order, Knight of CAMES Academic Palms Order, he is Full Professor (Cameroon and CAMES) and Vice-Chancellor at the University of Dschang (Cameroon) and works as a lecturer and consultant in many international universities and institutions in Africa, Europe and Russia. He is author or co-author of about twenty books and more than seventy articles published in Africa, Europe, America and China. He is Director of the Centre for Research in Applied Microeconomics (REMA), former Director of the Economic Policy Management (EPM) Training Program of the University of Yaounde II, Member of a dozen of Scientific Societies including the American Economic Association (AEA) and the Cameroonian Academy of Sciences (CAS), Member of the Scientific or Writing Committee of a dozen of International Journals, Secretary of the "Economics and Management" Chamber of the Cameroonian Society of Agrégés (SCA) and Member of the Strategic Studies Group (SSG) and External Reference Group (ERG) of the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF). He is the General Secretary of the Network of the Universities and Research Institutions of Central Africa (REESIRAC), and General Secretary of the International Association of French Speaking Economists (AIELF). He is Vice-Chair of the Francophone Association of Development Studies (AFED), Chairman of the Circle of Economic Thought of Cameroonian Entrepreneurs Association (GICAM) (CREG) and Coordinator of the Network of the Researchers in Management of Francophone Economics (REGEFE). His areas of expertise include economics, microeconomics, capacity building, corporate management and economic policy management.

Dyborn Chibonga

Dyborn Chibonga has been a Board Director of the African Institute of Corporate Citizenship (AICC) since April, 2010. Mr. Chibonga is the Regional Head for Southern Africa at the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), an alliance aimed to catalyze and sustain inclusive agriculture transformation for smallholder farmers in Africa. In this role he supports Teams in Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia to deliver on their Country operating plans. He was engaged in October 2017 and relocated from Malawi to Mozambique in October 2018.

Mavis Kanjadza studied Accounting at the University of Malawi and she holds professional accounting qualifications from Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA).

Wiskes Nkombedzi

Wiskes Dafter Gray Nkombezi joined as board director of African Institute of Corporate Citizenship (AICC) in 2019. He is currently working with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism as Director of SMEs and Cooperatives where he is providing leadership to the Department of SMEs and Cooperatives in terms of work plans and budgets, policy, strategy and vision.
Ivy Chihana

Ivy Chihana

Ivy is a lawyer by profession and provides Orant Charities Africa with legal advice and direction to ensure corporate compliance and that program implementation is inline with both international and Malawian laws. Before becoming a lawyer, Ivy was a secondary school Teacher and her 7 years experience in teaching helps with our education program and general program implementation. Ivy currently serves a chairperson for Orant Charities Africa. -Ivy holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Laws (Hons) and also a degree in Education humanities from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College. Ivy is also pursuing an Executive Masters in Managing Peace and Security in Africa at the University of Addis Ababa at the institute of Peace and Security Studies. -Currently she is working with the Ministry of Home Affairs as the Senior Legal Advisor, where she works as a reviewer and a Refugee Status Determination Supervisor. She assists unaccompanied minors, women and other vulnerable groups in the Dzaleka refugee camp by recommending to the Refugees Committee for them to be recognized as refugees for purposes of protection. With close to 6 years working experience, Ivy is an innovative, dynamic and versatile leader who leads by example and has great passion to empower women in Malawi.

An anti-corruption expert that has 15 years work experience in conducting field investigations of financial and corruption crimes/violations that included participating in a wide variety of case investigations involving complex financial analysis and managing investigative assignments and/or projects. My greatest achievement has been working on complex financial cases that led to convictions.
